Can you transport a canoe without a roof rack?
A lot of people don’t have to drive around with a rack attached to their vehicle at all times. Thankfully, there’s a cheap and easy alternative to a full roof rack: foam pad racks. These racks are very affordable, and they work quite well. They’re easy to use whenever you need to transport your canoe.
What is the easiest way to transport a canoe?
The best way to transport a touring kayak is to use kayak racks that have curved cradles to properly secure and protect your boat. If you don’t have a special kayak rack, you can also transport it using curved foam blocks with the cockpit (open side) facing up.
